Office Manager
Intergroup is looking for volunteers to man the office in the mornings from 9-12:30,Monday thru Friday. We have a couple of spots open and always need extra people for backup, even if you can't do it every week. This is a great way to be of service, have contact with newcomers/oldtimers and stay sober. Please call Lisa 309-7641016,in afternoons for more information. We could also use more people for backups ,on the evening phones, when the regular people don't answer their phones.
I had some trouble with Vonage, doing "updates" afew times this month where I was unable to transfer the phones and had to stay in the office a few extra hours at night, until the phones were transfered.Hopefully this was just temporary, because I didn't want someone to call for help and not get any answer, but sometimes I have to leave for my other job.
I wrote a note to the landlord, about various problems here, and he finally took care of them-removing dead rodents from the basement and rpairing ceiling tiles in the kitchen. He is unable to loiwer our rent, but is willing to let us pay twice a month and sign a month-to-month lease if that is what we want.
I need a mailing list for the Buffalo Group,as the news letters keep getting returned to the office,so please call the office if you can help us out
Call counts for September were: 6 twelve step,132 information,49 visitors and1 Alanon/Alateen.
In love and service,
Lisa W.
Telephone Chair Report
The intergroup phone rotation has one opening for the fourth Sat on the PM shift. At the present time the backup list has only five people on it.We would like to have more names,if possib le, of people that are interested inhelping with the phones.Any Sponsers that have Sponserees that they could recommend for the 12th Step list, aswellas the phone list, they are very much appreciated and badly needed. Please have them call the Intergroup office and talk to Lisa or call me- Bob,at 563 349 1878.They will get them into service on the list.
In love and service,
Robert Shounick
