Office Manager’s Report: Things are going well here at the office. I have found a Thursday volunteer, a Friday volunteer, and a backup volunteer, so thanks to Weezie, Joe, and Lorraine for stepping up to the plate! Our refrigerator is not working, so if anyone knows a repairman or someone that has a refrigerator to get rid of, please have them contact the office. Otherwise we will have to find another way to get a new one. I read a few months ago that switching fonts to Century Gothic can save a lot of money on printer ink so I am trying to do that wherever possible. District 90 has placed a box here at the office for people to recycle their Grapevines. Please call the office if you would like to be on the 12-step list or volunteer occasionally at the office. In love and service, Lisa W.
Telephone Chair Report: We still need a telephone chair. Terri B. and Gail S. have been gracious enough to transfer the phones on the weekends the last few months, but we really need someone permanently in the position, or even two people to share the position. Please continue to announce this at your groups. Service work is a great way to stay sober so please consider helping us out!
Events: - Marybeth reported the softball tournament will be September 11, 2010. Details will be in newsletter.
New Business – Intergroup reps were to take back to their groups about seeing if people were interested in putting group events anniversaries and picnics on the AA Quad City website.
