Secretary’s Minutes - Minutes from the June 2011 meeting were approved as published. The position of Secretary of Intergroup is open! PLEASE announce this at your meetings. We need someone to take minutes once a month at the Intergroup meetings and get them to the newsletter chair and webmaster for publication.

In love and service, Rhonda S., Treasurer
Office Manager’s Report: Things are going well at the office. One of the volunteers, Richard S., has inventoried the pamphlets and organized the back room, so I am extremely grateful for that, as well as for everything the other volunteers do. Please call the office if you would like to be on the 12-step list or volunteer occasionally at the office.
Call counts for June were 13 twelve-step, 172 information, 46 visitors, and 2 Alanon/Alateen.
In love and service, Lisa W.
Telephone Chair Report: The Intergroup Phone rotation is full at the present time for now and we have ample amount of people for the backup list. We would still like to have more names of people that are interested in helping. The 12 step list is a little small -if you have ever worked the phone in the day and especially at night and get a 12 step call and start calling names on the list and you get no answers, the feeling of not be able to help this person is awful. If we have people that could and would help, have them call the Intergroup office and they will help get them in to service on the list.
In love & service, Robert S.
Newsletter Report: The Newsletter went out on June 22nd before all business meetings. I want to thank all of my “roving” reporters for their articles. It keeps the newsletter fresh! You may have noticed this month that we had a large amount of announcements. This month the 80 newsletters cost $82.37 to print and $54.40 to mail ($1.71 per newsletter). Remember that each flyer pays $7 to be in the issue. After this is subtracted it is $1.10 per newsletter. All groups receive a complimentary copy and we have approximately 56 subscriptions at $13/yr or $1.08/month. I satisfied the post office this month with the “middle” staple. As always, if you would like to submit an article, please e-mail it to shell@mchsi.com. I’d love to have some articles on all those great picnics going on!
Events Report: Gathering info and making plans for upcoming events: Golf Outing (August), Softball Tournament (September), Anniversary (April). Possible second speaker and dinner in the fall. Jammie J.
District 9 & District 90 – please see full report in newsletter minutes and on the website at www.aaquadcities.com.
