Office Manager’s Report: April 5, 2010

Things are going well at the office.  I have been working with some individuals and the District 90 Corrections Chair to get Spanish literature into the East Moline Correctional Center, which is very gratifying.

If anyone is interested in riding a bus to the International Convention in San Antonio in July, there is a bus going from Dubuque that is looking for more people to fill the bus.  Contact me for more information.

We received a donation of $300 from the Cabin Fever Speaker Banquet, and should receive more after the Sponsorship Workshop on May 8 in Geneseo.  We are very grateful for the support!

We have a tenant upstairs now, so one of the two parking spots for this house is reserved for them.

Stewart Nordeen will mow the lawn again this year for the same price of $15.

If anyone needs to do service work, call the office!  We are still looking for a Friday volunteer to keep the office open on Friday mornings, and there are other things that need to be done around the office.  In love and service, Lisa W., Office Manager

Events: - I have confirmed the times and dates with the Moline legion for the Anniversary event on 4/24/10 starting at 5pm, and also the speaker and DJ. The decorating and raffle committee is in place. Please see if your home group is going to make and donate a basket for the raffle. We still can use monetary gifts and prizes also. All proceeds will go to the Intergroup. I'm just trying up the last loose ends and praying we have a successful anniversary event. In love and service, Karen K.
