DCM Report: I will be attending the Area Assembly on June 21st, please contact me if you are interested in going. There are five pages of motions that will be discussed and voted on at the assembly. These motions are the unanimous recommendation of the Area’s Service Structure ad hoc committee. The ad hoc committee met several times, made a presentation to the Area, and then revised its recommendations into 5 separate motions. Please contact me for further information prior to attending the assembly. I will be a panel moderator at the Big Book Conference on November 1st. The panel topic is “A Design 4 Living.” I will be contacting some district members and groups to participate on the panel. I have been in contact with District 91 about the Delegate’s conference report and should have a date by our July meeting. (Tammy D.)
Treasurer’s Report: Expenses for May were $93.50 versus income of $91.00. 2008 year to date we have a deficit of $73.94. I have a proposed district budget that includes expenses for each standing committee and other normal and necessary items. (Terry W.)

Milan Hillcrest Group: The group is willing to host the Delegate’s Conference report and is waiting for the Delegate’s available dates. Every Sunday there is a potluck at 1:00 following the noon meeting, this would be a good time for the Delegate’s report. The group respectfully requests that we do not vote on a district budget until the group has had an opportunity to look it over. (Mary L.)
Last Chance Group: The group will be celebrating its 20th anniversary on August 2nd, more will be revealed. (Kris O.)
Henry County Group: All is well with an anniversary function being planned, however no date or location yet. There is also talk about a weekly “Big Book Study” be formed. (Allen H.)
Budgets
Motion: That budget of $2,680.00 be approved as presented.
After the presentation by the district treasurer there was discussion and some concerns raised. The district’s income in 2006 was $1635.42 and 2007 was $1430.01, while the proposed 2008 budget has expenses of $2680.00. Considering that the Milan Hillcrest Group had already requested that the district not vote on a budget until they had a chance to see it, and the fact that there did not seem to be a collective group conscience, the motion was tabled.
Corrections Workshop
Good to go. See flyer
District Picnic No information tonight, more will be revealed.
New Business
Motion: That the District reimburses the treasurer up to $40.00 for mailing expenses to communicate with the groups.
