Birthdays:  None.

Changes to Minutes:  March minutes accepted.

Concepts Presentations:  Joe R (II) and Butch W (III), Diane M (IV) and Mary L (V) in May.

DCM Report:  I attended the NIA Spring Assembly and Spring Conference in Wheeling on March 27, and participated at the third session of the Area Report and Charter Committee later in the day.  We discussed the upcoming Pre General Service Conference Workshop, which involves a sharing of information to help our Area Delegate vote on issues at the General Service Conference based on our collective group conscience.  My hope is that District 90 will be well represented by our Committee Chairs and GSRs.  The Area Registrar has compiled a list of groups with no contact information, who receive no mailings and do not appear in the Regional Directory.  This is a sad break in the flow of services that is the cornerstone of our primary purpose.  If anyone has information that might help, please let Jesse or I know.  I will try to reach some of them by attending their meetings.  There are also groups who have no GSRs, and are not connected to the flow of information from Area to the groups and back.  Hopefully we can all encourage them to become a part of the Service Structure.  (Bruce M)

Treasurer’s Report:  We received contributions in March from the Geneseo Group and the Kewanee Group.  Expenses included Intergroup newsletter minutes and flyer, and DCM travel reimbursement for the NIA Spring Assembly.  Expenses were $141.40 versus income of $150.05.  Total balance of accounts at end of February $840.01.  (Diane M)

Committee Reports:

Correctional Facilities:  Spanish Big Books were ordered for East Moline Corrections.  It was suggested to call Area to help fill this need.  Visited Scott County Jail, which is very enthusiastic with a goal of a meeting every day.  We need more volunteers.  Treatment Facilities:  All quiet.  Grapevine:  Contacting Intergroup about possibility of setting up a drop-off for old issues so people can refer to them about various topics.    Cooperation with the Professional Community (CPC):  Provided 25 schedules each to AIDS Project Quad Cities and Henry County probation.  Providing information to a probation officer in Cambridge who would like to start a meeting.  Public Information (PI):  Attending Pre-GSC Workshop on 4/10.  Literature:  Many AA pamphlets and other literature items available online at www.aa.org.  Several literature changes to be discussed at Pre-GSC Workshop.  Special Needs:  absent.  Intergroup Liaison:  vacant.

GSR Reports

Geneseo Group:  May 7 speaker meeting to be held at Concordia Lutheran Church rather than usual place.  Sponsorship Workshop May 8, $20 registration fee, proceeds to be distributed to District 90 and Intergroup.  Our Primary Purpose:  Planning summer/fall picnic.  House Group:  Attendance and finances getting better.  Group inventory scheduled for 4/10 from 11am to 2pm.  Business meeting 4/11 following 10am meeting.  Henry County (Kewanee):  Sunday Big Book Study meetings well attended.  Have tickets for Sponsorship Workshop.  Milan Hillcrest:  40th Anniversary was a big success.  Business meeting 4/18.

Old Business:  Fall Event, possibility of combining with Blackhawk Park campfire meeting.  Will discuss at next meeting.
